At the ORser BIOmedical (ORBIO) research lab we focus on biomedical system design and applications. Designing systems for application in the biomedical space requires attention to detail, repeatable results, and clear documentation to ensure the results that are achieved can be used with confidence by others.

The information on this website includes references to published material, design material for building hardware, and links to controlled software in github. These resources are intended to support use of material by research groups interested in using, replicating, or expanding upon our work. The projects described here include work that combines electronics, software, hardware, and system design to create a finished product appropriate for use with biological systems. Some work describes testing and results from use of commercial systems while other projects include design and development of pre-clinical and non-significant risk clinical equipment.
